Full U.S. Warehouse Pickup & LTL Delivery FAQ

How Car Lift Pickup, Unloading & Installation Works

1. How does Free Warehouse Pickup work?

Once your order is processed (typically 24–48 business hours), we send you the exact warehouse address, pickup reference number, and dock hours. Bring an open landscape/car trailer (14 ft+ recommended) or full-size pickup truck (check package length), and the warehouse team will forklift-load the steel crate onto your rig for free.

2. Why can't a standard LTL liftgate unload a 4-post or 2-post lift?

Standard box-truck liftgates are only ~8 feet wide, while a crated vehicle lift is 14 to 16 feet long and weighs 1,500–2,800 lbs. For residential deliveries without a tractor/forklift on site, most home garage buyers either use Free Regional Warehouse Pickup, pick up at the local LTL carrier terminal, or hire a local flatbed/rollback tow truck ($75–$150 locally) to slide the crate directly into their garage bay.
